Franklin High School

I spent the winter semester of 2023 student teaching at Franklin High school in the city of Livonia, a suburb of Detroit. I was initially apprehensive of angsty high schoolers, but quickly came to love my time with them! My mentor teacher Ms. Tammy Blau shared her expertise teaching high school while we navigated photography and ceramic courses.

I was thrilled with how creative and thoughtful these young folks were, and impressed with their skill and willingness to try new things! The future looks bright!!!
